The Flaming Tsunamis

ska-laced hardcore/experimental from Connecticut
downloadable mp3s from "Focus The Fury" and "Zombies vs. Robots" at Purevolume
Red Light Run It!
FAREWELL PERFORMANCE FOR GATES-CHILI PUNK/SKA HOOLIGANS
With special guest: MATT WIXSON
foul-mouthed acoustic ska fury!
He won't be swearing up a storm in a church like last time (well, it won't be in a church at least. A Wixson set without cursing is like a day without sunshine ;-) ) but it should still be good.
All-ages admitted, $5 admission
Presented by Huckleberry Promotion, 585 SKA and Upstate Stomp

I'll deffiantly be ther (if I get a ride) to see Matt Wixson. I throughly enjoyed him last time at that church.
On a side note
Twitch, you should post about all shows, maybe it will spark more discussion.

Other than the BurTones on the road, the next few weeks are pretty quiet.
I'm taking a break for a month or two, but there seem to be big things ahead in late December and early January.
To be continued.

yeah, I have to get back into that habit.
The Isotopes are way cool, although most of their shows are 21+.
I'll have to keep my eyes open for exceptions to that.

How was the show??
I'm really bummed I couldn't make it to this one. Hopefully Matt Wixson will come back next year, I wanna hear some BPM stuff live.

The turnout was kind of weak, but the bands still played fantastic.
Wixson live is just him and his guitar; I'll ask him if he ever plans to take Babylon Party Machine on the road.

He told me once online that he would play some BPM sometime with his keyboard or something.
He also put on his BPM myspace that hes making some new tunes that are more vocal so he isn't just dancing around to some techno songs haha. I'm assuming that means he would mostly be playing recodings and singing.

Cool, I'll definitely ask him if he wants to do some of those next time he visits.
